My favorite animal

I have nothing my favorite animal since last Saturday. Because I love every animals. However, now I can say that I like cats the best. My young sister has said that she wants cats for a long time, and my parents never allowed it. But that day, my father asked me (my sister went to her part time job) “do you want some cats?” And I said “why?” The house which my sister’s friend lives has five kitties, and they’re looking for the person who can take care of kitties. After my sister came to home, we decided to get two cats. That is why, there are new family members in my house now. I thought they’re so cute for the first time, but found it is not easy to have pets. They often bite me, sharpen their toenails anywhere, and try to step on the table in kitchen. They are not good habits. Each time I scold them. But they don’t remember that. They are fool. However, I think even their bad points are charms.

My favorite place I've been

My favorite place I’ve been in Japan is Kyoto. Since I became a university student, I go there every year. I use the Shinkansen as transportation system. It costs about three ten thousands yen, but takes only three hours from Kumamoto to Kyoto. My high school’s friend lives there, so I can spend with her during I stay in Kyoto every time. Kyoto has a lot of famous and historical places and buildings. I always enjoy visiting them. Also, London is my favorite place. This summer I visited there for the first time, but I have been loved it since I was elementary school student. To my regret, I stayed there only two weeks. I had a great time there, and want to visit again. To tell the truth, I have another favorite place in a foreign country. It is Minnesota, in America. I stayed there for a month last year. The experience gave me more interests about overseas countries.

My favorite candy

I like the Chupa Chups the best! It is so sweet and loved all over the world. Especially, I often eat a flavor of coke one. First, this candy was made by a company in Barcelona in 1958. Chups is a sound-effect when we are licking something in Spanish. Chupa Chups was called “GOL” (it means goal in Spanish, because the candy is similar soccer ball.) the early days, but it didn’t become famous. So the company changed the name. I think this story is interesting. Many friends of mine don’t know that thing. So they are usually surprised when I talk about it. I heard that there were flavor of mango few years ago. I wanted to eat at any cost! I like mango very much. I hope it appears again someday. That is why, now I want to travel in Barcelona. There is also the Sagrada Família! One of my dreams is licking Chupa Chups with watching Sagrada Família. It is so luxury!

my favorite book

My favorite book is the Momo. I read this book when I was an elementary school student. Our elementary school has this book.  This author is a German person, and he also drew illustrations in the book. I hadn’t known it until I became a high school student, but this story is famous all over the world. The story tells us about “time”. Momo, who is a heroine of the story, she is not a beautiful girl, but she is so cute. Whoever talks with her always feels happy. She lives in old theater.  One day, the men who called “thieves of the time” appeared in her town, and started to plunder everyone of time. Children found it soon, and asked Momo to help.  She said “O.K.”, and went out the theater to get time back from them with a tortoise which has a wonderful power. Also, this story teaches us the importance of time. I think I often spend time wastefully. I have a lot of things to do every day! I have to change my life style.

I believe this words, “Who goes slowly, goes long, and goes far.” This is my favorite motto. I found this slogan in my dictionary when I was a high school student. It can say something in different words, if you keep making efforts, you can move even a mountain. I think that something to I need is a staying power. So this word fits me.
I know some proverbs. I like knowing proverbs regardless Asia or Europe. The words which great mans said impress my mind. The man rendered distinguished service left wonderful words to us. Sometimes they give me brave, wits and so on. But sometimes they also scold me. It helps me to grow up. I want to more proverbs. I have an iPhone, and there is a application which writes the proverbs in English. It also useful to study English.

My favorite dish is a hamburger steak. Especially, that one made by my mother. My mother often mixes cheese in it. I also cheese very much. So every year, I ask her to make hamburger steak for my birthday. Some people laugh me saying “you look like kids.”  I know it. But I don’t care, haha. I eat everything I like.

 I sometimes make meals. I can’t cook elaborate dishes, but everyone say “yummy!” when I cook something. This word makes me happy. I want to try various dishes if I have enough materials and time.

I found that I don’t eat dinner with my family recently. Last week, I didn’t eat dinner with my family anytime. Every day I went to restaurant with my friends after school. It was not good thing. It cost much money, and my father worries me if I go home late. I keep in mind to go home early this week.

I love the Mini cooper very much! My dream is driving it in London. Especially, I like red one best. Because the red is the color of London.  I like Mini cooper’s shape. It is very rough, especially head rights. I have my own car. It is Mira Gino made by Daihatsu Company. It imitates the Mini cooper, so I chose it. Of course, the color is red!

Also, I’m interested in the Volks Wagen. This is the name of car bland in Germany. Above all, I like the Beatle. They aren’t produced now, so we can’t find them so easy. When I sometimes find them in Kumamoto city, I think that day is lucky day. To tell the truth, I also want the Beatle, too. I have their mini cars. I got them in America even they are not made in America!

My favorite flower is sunflower, because I was born in summer. My birthday is 24th August, so there are some sunflowers in my house’s garden every year. My parents often plant them. When I was child, I used to read a picture book about sunflower. There were a little girl and boy, and the boy presents her the flower’s seeds by fasten together balloon in the book. So I remember that I did same thing with my young sister. We have never known where our balloon gone. I home someone got it and planted seeds. 

Sunflowers make me happy. We had a big earthquake in March. Because of it, we are frightening at radiation. However, I heard that sunflowers have a potential which suck up radiation from the soil! Also, sunflowers cure our heart even just seeing. I think this flower has big power.

My favorite color is blue. I like to look sunny sky, so this color is my favorite color. Looking blue sky makes me forget something bad. Also, the blue expresses color of sea. I think blue means clear, too. When we are child, blue is often liked by boys, and girls like red or pink. So if I said “I like blue”, some my friends were angry or wondered.  I didn’t like that. What color I like, it should have nothing to do with them, didn’t you? In this way, I was a very perverse child, haha! Even now! 

To tell the truth, I like all colors. For example, there is vivid, pastel, and so on. I choose various colors every morning when I change my clothes. Which color I wear, many people say to me “you always wear personal clothes!”

My favorite dessert is chocolate parfait! I like all kinds of sweet desserts, but the No.1 is chocolate. I often go to Joyfull which a famous family restaurants, and ask it. It is big and cheap for me. There are also some other parfaits, but I always eat only that one. I know it has high calorie, but I can’t stop eating haha! Sweet desserts make me happy. I also want to cook them. My mother sometimes makes them and has some books about how to cook desserts. So I am planning about making sweets someday. My favorite sport to watch is soccer! I like soccer very much. To tell the truth, I’m not interested in ball games overmuch. Especially I don’t like the valley ball. Because I can’t play it well. That sport is difficult for me.

However, I like soccer. I play it, too. I always enjoy watching soccer games. I like other countries, so I’m looking forward the World cup. Each team’s uniform is individual and cool. My favorite drink is fizzy drinks. For example, there are cola, soda pop, and so on. To tell the truth, I like fizzy drinks better than alcohol. Some of my friends say they don’t like them, but I can’t understand why. When I was child, my father often said to me “Cola melts your bones!” and I believed his words, so I stopped drinking it for some time. How pure girl were! haha! In fact, fizzy drinks contain a lot of sugars, however. It’s not good for my health. Also, it makes me fat. So I try to not drinking fizzy drinks…  Now, I often drink Japanese tea. My favorite Japanese drink is Ayataka. I think it is the best of many Japanese teas.

One of my favorite movies is SUMMER WARS. Its genre is Cyberpunk. There is “OZ”, something to useful service which everyone can use. A hero, Kenji is falling in love with Natsuki, who is his senior girl. One day, he was asked from her to go hers grandmother’s house as her boyfriend. However, because of an unexpected thing, he has to battle to rescue the world.

I like this movie very much. So I have a DVD and comic books. I throb every time I watch this movie. I like Kazuma, who is Natsuki’s cousin. He is very cool and strong. But very cute, too. I want a brother like he.

typing homework: Something special I did during summer vacation

On July 24th, I went to sea in Ohyano with Ayaka, Shiori, and Midori. Before it, Midori said she wanted to swim in the sea. So We planned to go swimming. Ayaka took us there by her car. It took about two hours. The weather was sunny, and very hot day. The day was a weekday, so there weren’t many people. We changed to swimsuit soon, and swam, played with sand, and played volley ball. Ayaka was belong to swimming club when she was a high school student, so she is a good at swimming. Midori was buried in the sand. We also took many pictures.  I got a pretty shell. Also I walked along the coast with Shiori. I was slept during go home. It was very good memorial.

I spent this summer in London, so I didn’t think this summer is blistering hot. But after came back Japan, I can’t stand this heat. I think this is one of the bad points about summer.  Japanese summer is very hot! Even now, the temperature rises over thirty-five. It’s crazy.

But Summer has many enjoyable events, and I like to participate in them. For example, my town, Mashiki, every year holds summer festival. A lot of people come to the festival and there are many branch stores. Also, we can enjoy watching beautiful and big fireworks! I think it is a good point about summer.

I took Richard’s class, the step of TOEIC at spring term, and I am going to take TOEIC test on September 23rd. So I often studied English by using the text of the class. It is published in Canada, and very very thick book! It has four CDs. I don’t like listening test, but Richard taught me to listen to announces again carefully after I solved the problem.  I found it reduces mistakes.

Also, I went to London in August. The experience will be useful for me to understand English more I think.  I want study more at fall term in order not to forget the days of this summer.

At fall term, I will take 11 classes. Two of them are repeating a course. These are writingⅣ and teaching method B. I have taking the teaching profession since last year, so I have to take some other classes than other students.  There are study of special activities, teaching method D, and educational counseling. I will go to teaching practice in junior high school next year. So I also have to start preparing of it. Still more, the job hunting will start since December. Even every Monday has no classes, I think I can’t avoid being busy. I want to do my best.

This summer, I had the plan to go to London to study English phonetics. I had a good time there. Every summer, The summer course for phonetics is opened at London University. I heard it from Professor Hori. I have been interested in London for long time, so I decided to join it. But my parents expected my request at first, because London is a big city and dangerous. We talked about it several times, and my parents accepted finally.  I went there with Fumika. We studied a lot of things there. Also, we visited many famous places of London. The final day was my birthday! Everyone said to me “happy birthday!” I was so happy. I never forget the wonderful days of London.
