Trip in Chicago

Last summer, I visited to Chicago. I stayed in Minnesota during the summer as home stay. And then, I went to Chicago, too. It was because my relatives live there. However, my teachers didn't allow me to go to Chicago first. They said, "You go to America not to play but to study!" I was sad, and told it to my host famliy. Then, they asked teachers! Finally, I could go to Chicago!! We went there by car. It took about 7 hours from Minnesota. I was almost sleeping.
I met my relatives and my host mother's family. Everyone were so kind for me. Chicago is the third biggest city in America. There were a lot of  people and things. I went shopping and walking. It was rainy day, but I really enjoyed. I want to visit again!

Letter From My Mother

My mother gave me a letter. She often writes a letter when we have something event. For example some one's Birthday.  When I was a little girl, I also write letters for my family with illustrations. 

Today, I will go to America. I'm very exciting. I think I will have a good time there. My family worries about it, but they support me. 

I don't sleep this night completely! I'm alone in my room now, so I am thinking about many things. For example, I maybe forget something important, or I maybe homesick... etc.

I think I should miss Japanese, so I take a book written in Japanese to America. It is "Kaze ga tsuyoku fuiteiru" by Miura Shiwon. This book is one of my favorite books. 

Also, I take a Japanese animation DVD there. Its title is "Hawl's moving castle". To tell the truth, I want to bring "Summer Wars", but it hasn't an English version stand-in! Unbelievable!

I will keep staying up all night, but I'm sleepy a little.

My Car

I have a car. It was given by my gland father. I got a license of car driving last October. My car is the Mira Gino which made by Daihatsu, and its color is red like tomatoes. I like it very much, because this design is very my type!!! Especially, I like that's rough rights. Everyone says my car is so cute. Its inside is very nostalgic. However, there isn't big, and only it is a fault.

Since I started driving my car, I have been interested in cars very much. I want to buy the Mini Cooper or the Beagles someday!! The former is made in U.K., and the latter is Germany made. I want to visit to both countries. I love these designs too. And, if I get the Mini Cooper, I will draw the Union Jack on the back mirrors! I like U.K. very very much. This is a famous story,  my car, Mira Gino copies Mini Cooper's design!

I also like Mercedes Benz's jeep. When I saw it at first time, I thought it is very cool!!! Its color was jet-black. I know Benz is so expensive, but I want to drive it even only once!

If I buy Japanese car, I want Toyota's Land Cruiser or Nissan's March, or Mitsubishi's Pajero Mini. Because I think that Land Cruiser and Pajero Mini  are similar to Benz's jeep. And March  is similar to Beagles.

Today's activity

Today, I get up at 10:30 a.m. At 11:00 a.m., I cleaned my room by vacuum cleaner. It is my custom every weekend. After that, I went out by my car at 12:30 p.m.

First, I arrived at a gas station in Mashiki town. I had to supply gasoline to my car. That place adopts self service, so I supplied it by myself. It is not difficult work, but I don't like.

Next, I reached at the Seven Eleven which near by KGU. Because I planed with Momo.T to gather there at 13:00 p.m yesterday. However, Momo didn't appear at that time. She often be late. As a result, She came at 13:15 p.m.

We had a driving time to go to the Yume Town Hamasen. When we arrived in that place, we had lunch first of all. We ate lunch set and desert in Ootoya. These are very delicious, healthy, and reasonable. Momo paid a bill even my ration. Thank you very much!

After that, we looked for a bathing suit which Momo wants. I bought it last Thursday. To tell the truth, Momo would go to with us that day, but she couldn't. So, I was asked to take her to Yume Towon today by her. Anyway, we discovered Momo's type bathing suit. After she bought it, we looked around many shops, and got some clothes and some accessories.

At 16:30 p.m., we left Yume Town, and went to Kengun. We stopped my car there, and took in a train. And in car's interior, we met Risa.M. by chance! We had sat on seats and talking until train arrived in Torichosuji. Momo and I parted with Risa there, and went to the Karaoke Kan. A few minutes later, Midori.Y came to see one. She also bought a swimsuit today, too. We are planning to go swimming now. We will go to the Tennen pool in Kashima town someday. We sang Kimura Kaera, RADWIMPS, flumpool, KARA, superfly, Bump Of Chicken, Sheena Ringo, Utada Hikaru, YUKI, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, and etc for 2 hours.  At 19:30 p.m., we said good bye each other. I took a train again. There are many people.

When I came back home, it was 21:00 p.m.  I had very good day! I enjoyed very much!

Omoyai

Do you know the word "Omoyai"? This is a provincialism in Kyushu, and it means "share". Murakami Ryu, who is a famous novelist writes about it in his book. My gland mother uses this word such as "I have only one, so please omoyai by your sister and you." Originally, Omoyai was used as "painter", it is a rope that corrects ship and ship.
I like this word because it sounds very kindly. The Kumamotoben is often said that it sounds be angry. However, omoyai has a gentle ring. I think we have to keep this word to the future. How about you?
