My favorite book is the Momo. I
read this book when I was an elementary school student. Our elementary school
has this book. This author is a German
person, and he also drew illustrations in the book. I hadn’t known it until I
became a high school student, but this story is famous all over the world. The
story tells us about “time”. Momo, who is a heroine of the story, she is not a
beautiful girl, but she is so cute. Whoever talks with her always feels happy.
She lives in old theater. One day, the
men who called “thieves of the time” appeared in her town, and started to
plunder everyone of time. Children found it soon, and asked Momo to help. She said “O.K.”, and went out the theater to
get time back from them with a tortoise which has a wonderful power.
Also, this story teaches us the importance of time.
I think I often spend time wastefully. I have a lot of things to do every day!
