I think this movie’s story is ordinary, but
for this reason I enjoyed watching it.
Sometimes, a special story is unfamiliar. I
like them but can’t share the their feelings
readily. In that respect, drumline is
youthful and passionate, and it reminds me of the
days of high school events.
Whoever likes music has to watch this
movie, I think. This is the story of music.
The hero of this movie, Devon is a genius.
But he is a selfness and childish boy. He can
play snare drum very well. He is very
conceited man. So he disturbs the teamwork. One
day he fought with his leader and won. But
Mr. Lee who directs the band, ordered
Devon to leave. After that, Devon changed
his mind and after much effort and hardship,
overcame setbacks. In the last scene of the
marching, I couldn’t stop dancing with their
music. I like their smiles. They told us
they really love music.
I also like music but I have never been
belonged to a wind music club. I thought
to join one when I was a junior high school
student, but I couldn’t because my friends
who are members of the wind music club said
it is not easy to start playing music
instruments like trumpet, saxophone, or
clarinet from high school. However I don’t give
up the dream even now. So I have a plan to
buy a trumpet and play it after I graduate
from my college. I was looking forward to
watching the brass band of opening ceremony
in high school athletic meet every year. By
watching this movie, the emotion became
stronger.
I think this movie’s leading character is
the band. I was drawn into their
performance. It makes me have gooseflesh!
This is the good feeling movie while I was
watching. I want something be enthusiastic
about thing like Devon was.
