I have been learning English for eight years. And I had studied German until this summer. In addition, I'm interested in other languages,too. Because I like other countries. Now, I am going to introduce my language learning history.
First of all, when I was a elementary school student, I rarely had time to study English. Sometimes a forgoer came to our school as ALT. It was the only chance for me to touch English. So I was looking forward to meet them every time. They are so kind and funny. We used to draw some illustrations and sing songs. I really enjoyed it. Since then, I wanted to know about them more.
Next, after I became a junior high school student, I started to study English in earnest for the first time. I had three English classes on the week, and went to clam after school. I became to like studying English. I couldn't like math, but I keep good record in English class. My English teacher often taught us her favorite English songs. I knew the Beatles, the Carpenters, the Queen, and the Back Street Boys then from her. Even now, I sing and listen to these songs. When I was fifteen years old, I passed the STEP 3rd grade test. It was a big self-confidence about English for me.
When I entered a high school, I had studied English more and more. My high school usually gave me a lot of home works everyday. I had to fight them every night. We had five English classes. Reading, Writing, Listening, Oral communication, and Grammar. I found it becoming difficult about contents in textbook than junior high school by far. I became disgusted with studying English at that time. However, I have been interested in other countries at same time thanks for I learning World history. Around this time, I started to search about oversea by myself. My favorite country is the U.K. But, I like other countries expect for the English-speaking world, too. For example, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, China, India, Egypt, and Finland.
Now, at the university, I keep studying English. I also studied German as additional language until this summer. I couldn't take that class this term, but I will choose it next year.
Also, I visited to America this summer. This is the my first trip abroad. I met a lot of people there, and learned many things. I got precious experiences. I never forget them. I keep exchanging letters with my host family. Also, taking this opportunity, I want to know more about the world.
At the university, I take a teacher training course. If I pass the examination, I can be a English teacher. I have a part time job in clam, and teach English to junior high school students there. It is interesting and hard job. It is good for me to brush up. Also, I have a another plan about my future. It is living in foreign country. At any rate, I need English. I have to study English more hard. But I want to learn it not only serious but enjoyably.
