I'll introduce you about my favorite place. My favorite place is Kyoto. I have been there three times. My first trip in Kyoto was a school trip in junior high school. I enjoyed it very much. Also, my friend lives there now, so I can visit whenever I want to go.
Since I have became a college student, I have been there two times. The first time was while last summer vacation, and the second time was while last spring vacation. The former, I stayed in my friend's house for a week. We went many famous places and enjoyed shopping. That time, we also went to Osaka. It is very near from Kyoto by train. We often used a subway to move. It is not in Kumamoto, so I was interested in it. However, the water in Kyoto is not delicious. I can't drink it.
Kyoto has a lot of temples and shrines everywhere. I like to go and see them. I have visited the Kiyomizu temple, the Yasaka shrine, the Nishi-honganji, the Kinkakuji and the Ginkakuji by now. I know about there are more wonderful places in Kyoto. The place I want to go now is Arashiyama. Also, my uncle lived in Kyoto before, so there are many his friends live. The uncle died about thirty years ago, but they say me "if you come to Kyoto, please contact us." I want to meet them someday!
The reason I like Kyoto is there are various things. I like miscellaneous goods very much. In Shijo, there are the shop of the Northern Europe. It's name is Hokuo-kan. I really love this shop and want to open it in Kyushu! There are a lot of items. For example, cooking utensils, and key cases, pierced earrings, tapestries, post cards and so on. They are all cute and made in Northern Europe. Mainly Denmark and Sweden, and Finland. We can eat Denmark's hot dog, too. It was very yummy! I'm planning about travel Northern countries.
Eigamura in Kyoto is also interesting. When I went there while last spring vacation, I bought a Kunai there. There are many Samurais and Ninjas, and everyone are very kind and friendly. I took a picture with them. Even the Kyoto station, we can enjoy shopping. I like yatsuhashi and chirimen pattern.
To tell the truth, I'm going to visit Kyoto again on next weekend. I always use a Shinkansen as transportation. It takes about four hours from Kumamoto to Kyoto. That time is bore for me. I want to live in Kyoto in the future.
